First Touchpoint
focuses on the education of potential bunny owners, targeting audiences who are most likely interested in posts related to rabbits and animals. These will include random articles from our website through facebook (similar to Stuff.co.nz) and DID YOU KNOW posts on other social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter.
Second Touchpoint
A decision to purchase a rabbit has been made. Audience: new rabbit owner. Some of my target audience may not have a chance to see the first touch points and therefore might miss on the education. However, when a purchase has been made through partner rescues and pet shops, a journey map will take you through the basic needs of your rabbit.
At the bottom of the journey map, there will be a link to the website that new rabbit owners can easily access through their phones or desktop. This will then bridge the gap between education and acquisition.
Third Touchpoint
This is what I consider the most crucial part of a rabbit owner's journey. The audience gets most excited when they get their first rabbit. Naturally, we need to take advantage of this excitement that will lead most of the educating. This touchpoint will aim for the audience to take in as much information as they can in a short amount of time, and of course, will be able to cater to any questions and doubts rabbit owners may encounter eventually.
In addition, I was thinking maybe there could be an overlap between the second and third touchpoint.
Fourth Touchpoint
Is when reality sinks in and the excitement dies out. The first three touchpoints will do its best to prevent people from mistreating any animal. However, some people might struggle or have a change in circumstances which will prevent them from being able to provide the best care possible for these animals. This touchpoint aims to motivate and keep the owner in check to be able to provide and keep track of their rabbits needs, alternatively, I would also want a help and support section wherein people could openly ask help and advise without the fear of judgement that could put them off like any existing rabbit communities available at the moment.
