Week One

1. The audience. Who is the project for?
- My project is aimed towards future owners and new owners because these are the people most likely to get misinformation about taking care of their rabbits. In addition, they are also the people who are most likely to neglect or abandon rabbits in a few months or so. Proper education with visual cues will help with absorbing information and thus being able to properly care for the rabbits.

2. Your key observations. What’s happening in the space? Why?

3. What principles underpin it? What matters most about your project?
- Based on research, there are quite a few organisations and efforts into education owners. However, I have listed down below some of the pro's and con's of these precedents and how I can potentially gather all their weak points to produce a more effective and visually enticing visual material. Simply put, education on its own is not a guarantee of being able to influence people into doing things. I would like to aim for better understanding in this field as some owners do not realise how this is important for their pet's welfare. And thus being able to promote responsible pet guardianship. If rabbits did not exist, this will still be able to apply towards other animals as animal neglect and abandonment exists either way.
